- Coordination and monitoring of the implementation of current public health policies
- Facilitate MOH's relations with the private sector, local or international in the field of health services, pharmaceuticals and medical devices
- Coordinate trade issues and international relations
- Ensure that Malaysia's health-related interests are voiced and protected diplomatically through international legal instrument mechanisms
- Coordination of Cabinet Papers, secretariat of MOH Post-Cabinet Meetings and Parliamentary affairs
- Secretariat of MOH Meetings with MOH Top Management, MOH Management Meetings, MOH Special Management Meetings, MOH Meetings with State Health Exco and coordination of related feedback
